After creating a logo for the real Moonlight Mile Ranch, animal rescuer and author, Mel Sobolewski approached me for a book cover design for her first ever to be published book. Visual inspiration came from the infamous Woosley Fire in California, and a real head shot of rescue horse Hickory was asked to be included.
